How To See the Future (Of Trends)
This morning, I tweeted a glib little thing:
But the more I thought about it, the more I thought I wasn’t that far off the mark! Witness:

Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp) in 1996. Could be at any bar, anywhere, this weekend. Then posted on Instagram.
So, that got me to thinking… What other 1990s trends were there that haven’t as yet made a comeback, but might?
A few ideas:
- Girls shaving their heads. We’re halfway there!
- To that end, women once again requesting the “Rachel” at the salon.
- Clunky, clunky Mary Janes. Oh wait, those never went away. For some reason.
