Happy Thursday, lovely pet! Time for the weekly gratitude.
It’s been really hard to make a list this week, you guys. Not that I don’t have things to be grateful for—I do, & hoo boy do I ever. My life is filled to overflowing with wonderful people who I have lunch with, go on lady-dates with, whose closets I clean, who I get manicures with, who write nice things about me on their websites, who care about me when I’m sick, who have coffee with me, who hire me to help them look & feel their best.
My life has women in it like Catriona, who encouraged me to follow my heart & plan my dreams. Women like Jaime, who push me to identify what it is I am going to do right now to get to where I want to be (not to mention making my laugh uncontrollably). Women like Nadine who I can have amazing, long conversations with about feminism & sex & blogging. Women like Jen, my steady lady date. Women like Amanda, who dive into friendship.
& then there’s the men. Oh, the men…
My life has men in it like Jesse, my constant cheerleader & most patient companion. Men like Jon, who send me self-help books that they think I will love & let me play with the cutest dog in the world. Men like my dad, who reads my blog from time to time & supports me relentlessly. Men like all three Justins, who I hear from just when I need to. “Men” like Noah, who always provides exactly the right amount of purr & snug when I’m sick.
If I left you out it wasn’t intentional. So many wonderful people have touched my life this week. My heart is overflowing with love. I have been known to randomly Tweet it out this week. I have been brought to tears by the kind words of people who read the blog, who hang out with me, who love me.
My heart is full, you guys. So, so full. Thank you for being a part of it. Thank you for coming with me on this journey. We have so much more to do. I’m so glad you’re standing with me.
