My Valentine’s Day Wish List

Oh, Valentine’s Day. As much as I claim every year that I don’t care about you, every year I harbour not-so-secret fantasies of being swept away on a romantic weekend getaway, showered with presents, & treated to the spa…

Of course, since my boyfriend isn’t Carlos Slim Helu, I’ll have to keep on dreaming! In that spirit, I put together a little bit of a wishlist for Valentine’s Day!

Wouldn’t it be nice to get an incredible heart-shaped umbrella? Or Frye Veronica short boots, a Holga to match my hair, a plane ticket to an exotic destination (Goa, Bali)? How about a heart-shaped locket with a photo of my lover inside, a set of Moroccan tea glasses, or Givenchy Rouge Interdit Shine lipstick in Raspberry Shine?

Also books… Christian Lacroix & the Tale of Sleeping Beauty by Camilla Morton, Dame Darcy’s Gasoline or 50 Contemporary Artists You Should Know would all be welcome!

I also wouldn’t say no to a gift certificate for a shiatsu massage or Tracy Anderson’s Metamorphosis Workout!

Of course, I will be so happy if I just get to spend time with wonderful Jesse. What about you? What would you wish for if you had a million wishes?

Your boyfriend’s name is Jesse? OH MY GOD, the CUTENESS. (sorry). I love the boots and the tea glasses – a heart-shaped umbrella would be a bit much for me. I like to think of myself as a cynical badass. Which is hilarious.

The cuteness is beyond words! I like my badassery with a touch of pink.

Oh – and books. I would wish for books. And an extra room to put them in.

I am getting one of my wishes I guess. We are ordering pieces for redoing our main floor bathroom. I would LOVE to wish for a vacation to someplace sunny and warm and a new wardrobe of course!

Wouldn’t we all!? Did you already have your surgery? How are you feeeeeeeeling?
